Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team, bringing expertise in both frontend and backend development. This role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing websites, managing server-side processes, and ensuring seamless API integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with problem-solving abilities and adaptability to work with diverse client needs and tech stacks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least two years experience in web development.
• Proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, with familiarity with MySQL and RESTful API integration.
• Skilled in CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Movable Type, etc.)
• Knowledgeable in Next.js, and backend frameworks like Yii2 and Node.js.
• Skilled in effective problem-solving, and clear communication, and adaptable to diverse client requests and tech stacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Build & Maintain Websites 🧱 

  Develop, test, and maintain websites using clean, structured code that meets modern standards.
• Collaborate Across the Lifecycle 🧠 

  Work with the team from planning to deployment to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
• Launch New Features 🚀 

  Implement and roll out new functionality based on project requirements and client needs.
• Optimize Backend & Databases ⚙

  Improve server processes and database performance for speed, efficiency, and scalability.
• Connect with APIs 🔗 

  Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Fix Bugs & Improve Performance 🐞 

  Troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and keep websites running fast and reliably.
• Document & Report 📝 

  Maintain clear technical documentation and development reports for easy reference and collaboration.

Preferred But Not Required

• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) and basic Linux server management.
• Familiarity with Python, DynamoDB, and React
• Basic understanding of Docker

Location

• BGC Office (Taguig City) 

  Candidates must be able to commute from home, as this position requires onsite work in BGC Taguig City and does not offer remote working options.
